& Restore Day
Surf, Nourish, Stretch.
Come and get a taste of how we do life in Raglan and experience a day spent learning to surf, enjoying delicious food, and restoring our bodies with some chill yoga. This is an all Women event, aiming to keep the lessons light and fun in a supportive environment.
This day is perfect for anybody who is looking for a little adventure and challenge, combined with some relaxation and connection back to both the body and mind.
First we'll meet and greet, suit up, and start our theory. We'll learn all about the ocean, how to paddle into our first wave, how to stand and pick up speed along a wave. We'll even learn the safest, and most (dramatic) wipeout methods!
After a few hours in the water sharing waves and building our skills, we'll head to lunch at one of Raglan's most premiere cafe's. From salads to more hearty dishes, there will be something for everyone. Don't forget to order an 'after surf coffee' for those of you that are into a caffeine hit.
To finish off our day we'll head back to Raglan town and enter 'The Space' to sink into our restorative yoga practice. We'll stretch out those overused paddling muscles, and relax and rejuivinate our bodies, ending with some mindful meditation to help you soak up the goodness of the day and to flow into the evening ahead.
Maximum group of 8 to ensure students receive maximum coaching and assistance. Day will run from 9 am - 3 pm.
